    Any Good simulator or editor to work on android programming?

    guys is their any good simulator or editor for programming for the android development and what tools are required to programe the application in android

    Good all in one developing environment is android studio from google:Android Studio
    Your another option is eclipse with ADT plugin.

    If you want reverse existing application you can use apk studio (already contains apktool), my favorite because of cross-platform support: Apk Studio
    Another useful tools:
    Apktool itself: Apktool
    Dex2jar: Dex2jar
    JD gui: JD decompiler

    Eclipse with ADT plugin is suggestion,but all simulators are damn too laggy no matter what cpu gpu you use....

    If you are fan of eclipse with adt then you wont love android studio and vice versa.....

    That's true, best way to simulate/test applications is directly via cable + adb on physical device.
