    Exclamation Long range Wifi Link

TL;DR: How can I use DSL modulation or something else to send data over walkie-talkies, so I can create a long range non LOS link to access the tor network? High bandwidth is not required (~100-200kbps)

Before you begin reading this, please keep in mind that I do NOT care about FCC regulations or laws regarding my project. The FCC does not control the air waves, they just think they do. If your response is something along the lines of: "This is illegal, and thus you cannot do it" Don't even bother replying. If I wanted that as an answer, I could have read it in the past 3 hours I spent on Google looking for a solution to my problem.

    Onto my project:
    What I need:
I need to create a wireless link that will allow me to connect to a router which will then transmit data over TOR. (I will only be using TOR, nothing else.)
I did some research into packet radio, and I learned that the fastest TNC I found was 9600 baud.... This is rather slow, even for TOR. (I get speeds of about 170kb/s on TOR at MAX)
The idea is to create a long range wireless connection so I can access TOR over CB radio.

Why CB radio? Because I can purchase a pair of 75km range walkie-talkies from Costco for about 100$

This is what I want to know if is possible.
Is there any way to modulate data at a *faster* (Faster then 9600 baud) rate and send it over CB? I realize that a walkie-takies is half-duplex, so it will slow down my connection, but I don't care about that, I have patience. (Not 9600 baud patience, however)
I want to use CB because it's cheap, and I don't need LOS. I looked into wifi, and no one fuck*ing manufactures 100-watt boosters or anything of the sorts due to stupid FCC regulations, and I don't know how to build a 100 Watt WIFI amplifier. (If anyone has schematics for that, using rp-sma connections, let me know)
ANYWAYS, I was thinking that DSL is relatively fast (5-6 mbps, for my use anyways) And travels over a phone line....

How hard would it be to use DSL to modulate a signal over CB radio, and receive it to another radio, demodulate it, and use it as a data connection? Range is very important here, speed, not so much. (Not that i'd be using all the available speed over TOR anyways)

I don't need any form of encryption for my communications because TOR handles that, so I'm fine in that regard.

Is the CB radio carrier bandwidth not high enough to handle DSL modulation?
Is there an alternative modulation I can use to send data between two radios?
Can I do this over two way radios for a full duplex connection?

If you guys help me figure this out, I'll complies it into a nice little package of hardware and software, and release the plans free for everyone to use on the internet.

You can use Automatic Packet Reporting System but note that it like all amateur packet radio has no encryption and is basically transmitted to everyone which sucks.

"One notable detail is the 2.4 GHz WLAN band partially overlaps an amateur radio band, Thus WLAN hardware can readily be used by licensed amateur radio operators at higher power levels than the "license free" usage allows. The restrictions inherent in Amateur Radio licenses ("signal must be free to receive by anybody", "transmit only between licensed radio amateurs", and "no encryption or other privacy techniques may be used", as well as various content restrictions) prevents this from being an appealing technique for connecting to the internet. Regulation details differ around the world." (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Packet_radio)

Currently encrypted packet radio hardware is under Controlled Cryptographic Items (CCI) is a U.S. National Security Agency term for secure telecommunications or information handling equipment, associated cryptographic component or other hardware item which performs a critical COMSEC function. Items so designated may be unclassified but are subject to special accounting controls and required markings.
Which I would think would be next to impossible to get even if you were the almighty Kevin Mitnick at social engineering.

Because your already doing illegal stuff you should clone a docsis cable modem or clone several docsis cable modems. You can get nice semi-anonymous connection.
Also who knows how long it will take the cable guys to figure out there is an unauthorized docsis cloned cable modem or better yet cloned docsis modems and they will only get the node only so it's not like they can just pinpoint were the problem. Anyway check out http://www.shodanhq.com/videos/media...-for-fun-and-p

Also you might want to setup some kind of asterisk Interactive Voice response system to turn on off equipment remotely (just fire up skype with your vpn to access the IVR) to avoid government attention.
    Good luck.

As long as you control the emitter and the receiver you can control the "Cryptography" part....hell...you can even use Enigma style encryption if you want....aren't there programmable Radio devices for computer usage? You can also use a router with a bit personalized firmware...
