He don't use MSN he use ICQ '--
I'm not too lucky.
I coded this for Win XP.
It is my first asp.net project.
When i deployed it on IIS i realized that IIS version on XP is pice of crap and doesn't allow to set custom application pool identity, which resulted that most AVS stoped to work properly.
So I switched to W7 and IIS 7 that fixed the problem and also caused few new
I must drop away Panda AV because this propably doesnt work on w7.
Also g-data doesnt allow me to request more trial licenses anymore so i will propably drop it too
Kaspersky is big bitch on w7 and freezing when others avs are installed. On Win XP it was fine.. You see? its fucking alchemy :/ Not as easy as it could look.
Myabe you can fool some avs with registry keys. But lot of them just doesnt work when they are not fully installed and some their components are not running.
I still have no idea when i will be able to finish it.
I'm also thinking about recode everything from scratch and create client - server architecture (producer, consumers) That will allow me propably to cover much more AVS without problems.

Panda works fine on Win7 (Im talking about cmd line scanner)
You just need to set it "Run in compatibility mode for" > Windows XP SP3
Hmm i dont know i'm reading pandas stdout and stderr and its fucked up here even when i set proper compatibility mode. On XP it was fine.
Panda is shit anyway, going to focus on better avs.
I implemented TOR.
server will be accessible only through onion address.
nice thing is that you dont need to have tor installed if you are going to access through webproxy.
I was searching for more antiviruses and i don't understand which version do scan4you use :/
Norton internet security does not seem to have command line shipped
Comodo antivirus does not seem to have command line shipped too
eTrust is fuckin joke? does not detecting any single infected file that I have... i'm not including it
Only Norman was succesfuly implemented.
Bitdefender newer versions bdc.exe missing to... :/
my biggest problem now is that i cannot find more antiviruses which have command line interface.
there must be a better way to do this :/
i mean how does scan4u pull it off ?
c:\program files\Symantec\Scan Engine\savsecls\savsecls.exe - norton command linefor bitdefender use an older version that has bdc.exeIf you look in the C:\PROGRAM FILE\COMODO\COMODO ANTIVIRUS folder, there is an exe called CAVSCONS. This is command line scanner.
Supported switches are
[drive]
[file spec] - * and ? wildcards are supported
/D = Attempt disinfection
/R [filename] = Create report
Example : To scan all powerpoint files on drive D: and create a report called ppoint.txt on the C: drive, the command would be;
cavcons d: *.ppt /R=c:\ppoint.txt
Hope this helps,
Ewen :-)
