The biggest thing that you'd need to learn is how to find those articles and webpages "Learning how to learn", just googleing something and reading it, changing your search terms and reading some more.

To understand RunPEs I studied a couple sources and read tons of articles on the PE file format. (I don't remember them, the most helpful thing was when I sat down to code it myself)

I guess first pick your language, then just start coding in it. Then when you want to get something done, learn how to do it, and code it Don't stop coding.

Pretty much took my words. Select language, learn the basics of it (Even some 20 page tutorial is enough in some cases). Then just take something you want done and do it. Of course be fair to yourself and do not take too hard tasks at the begin. You find lots of example code in google, use it. Just remember always ask yourself "why", this way you will learn things. Instead of just copying the code, go it trough line by line and solve what it does and why is it needed.

Most RunPEs ignore steps 3, 5, and 6... or at least only half implement them.

I know i just posted that to help OP realise how basic injection is performed
since spoon feeding him with code wont help him

I'll see if I can find one, my current knowledge of page frames, physical memory layout, and process creation/that kind of hierarchy is kind of mashed together from billions of articles I've read over the years.
