    Lightbulb My new project...

This project is a RAT that i'm coding... It's formless and is in early stage because i don't have time to spend due to university stuff... It doesn't have any kind of injection yet, but it already has some features:

    File manager
Service manager ( list, install, uninstall, start, stop )
    Registry manager
Proccess manager ( list and kill )
Corrupt files ( maybe i'll remove this )
Retrieve RAS and Protected Storage passwords
    Desktop capture
Webcam capture ( .bmp pictures and .avi videos )
    Logoff/Power off/etc
    NEW --> Window listing
NEW --> Send keys to window, active or not

And i'm trying to implement some other features, i have already started coding all of them:

Compression to transfer files and/or strings ( almost done ) - NOT another kiddie zlib rip
Socks proxy ( maybe with user and password )
    Keylogger ( system-wide hook )
Microphone capture ( a little hard to implement, this will take time )
    Remote download ( like a webdownloader )
File manager with option to resume downloads and uploads ( has to be recoded from scratch, because it will use compression )
NEW --> Retrieve current user's MSN password if it is saved ( i'm working on this, maybe will fail, but i'll try :p )

And maybe some other functions, who knows? After the RAT is coded, i will optimize it for speed/size... I don't know if i'm going to release it opensource... Maybe. But it will surely take some time.

Any comments, suggestions or tips to help me, please post here...

Well good luck on it. Seems like it's going to be a good RAT. Anway it would be nice of you to release the source code to support the open- source scene.

    Good luck Anyway

I'm not sure how long it is gonna take to complete this project, in fact i don't even know if i'm going to complete it... of course i will release it opensource someday, i just don't know when... The only new feature in it is the compression, cause i haven't seen any public RAT that uses the method i'm planning to implement. I haven't seen the .avi video capture either, but it isn't that hard to code...

Anyway, is that any feature that you guys want to be included on this RAT?

Maybe you could add a feaure that steels cd keys of popular games/applications that the victim has installed?

I realy dont know how you would do this though...

@ Forsaken - How did you go about creating the polymorphism unit? i mean, what approach did you take eg. changing procedure names at runtime or re-writing an entire procedure to perform the same task at runtime?

Please explain..... (ive asked alot of skilled coders, and this subject is normally beond thier knowledge)

If you truly do have this unit, it would greatly benifit the entire delphi community, not just in terms of RAT coding but for many other usefull purposes as well

    Cheers

MAX - stealing CD keys is a simple task, nearly all games put the CD key in the registry somewhere, so its simply a matter of finding the reg key of the game you want, and retrieving the value.

    ps.
Most games now require some sort of registration to conteract key stealing apps, so it s probably a useless feature anyways
