Thread: Gh0st RAT 3.6 source code

Hi guys for my first post, i found this on the net.
Gh0st rat 3.6 source code from china

Does anyone here know how to compile this? I believe the makers of this nice rat has opened source Gh0st Rat.

you need to install windows server 2003 SDK first, then use vc++6.0 to compile it!

thanks for the reply, i was able to compile the driver ressdt.sys with the ddk and is now UD.. My problem now is compiling the svchost.dll, install.exe, and gh0st.exe
I have lots of errors, I know the code is correct I might be using the wrong tools though. I dont know where to get old tools, microsoft has been notorious for removing old tools from their site.

I use WinXP SP3
VStudio 6 Enterprise
Windows DDK 3790.1830
Windows SDK Jan2006 CTP

Having said that, I will be making my own english version and will be sharing it here. Also, I am aware that there is an english binary version already...but no english source.. Hope someone could help with my build environment problem.

edit: I now can compile all the sources with the proper tools, except for some minor warnings. the pictures are now in jpg, forgot to convert earlier, sorry for that.

Great work!We all can learn a lot from it.

This is very poorly coded and most of it looks ripped. Anyhow, I tested it out on Vista and it compiled fine using MSVC++ with the Platform SDK. It has minor warnings but all functions still work properly.
